A "Must Have" for GaGa fans July 1, 2010 Guns&RosesStillRuleOK 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This album is all your favourite GaGa songs revved up into a dance mix - you'll love it more than the originals! Highly recommended.
Mixed Up In GaGa Land May 13, 2010 The Wolf (uk) 19 out of 21 found this review helpful
Here's one little statistic to kick us off.
A quick look at You-Thingy, a popular video posting
website, reveals that the cinematic representation of
Lady GaGa's highly popular single 'Bad Romance' has
clocked 203,416,574 hits (that's TWO HUNDRED AND THREE
MILLION, FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTEEEN THOUSAND, FIVE
HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FOUR hits!!!) since it was first posted.
That's a lot of interest in one song by my reckoning.
Whether or not you've bought into the phenomenon there can
be little doubt that Ms Germanotta looks set to be staying
around for more than the prescribed fifteen minutes that
Dame Fame allegedly allocates to each of us.
'The Remix' is a generous collection of seventeen mutations
of the songs that have rampaged around the globe, stomping
roughshod across anything or anyone which has come in their way.
There are sixteen remixes and a voice and piano rendition of
her fine composition 'Poker Face', captured live in performance
at The Cherry Tree House.
A few pals drop in to join the fun from time to time.
Marilyn Manson leaves his dark hole in the ground to
join the party on the rumbustious Chew Fu Ghettohouse Fix
mix of 'LoveGame'. He croaks and screeches dutifully from his
perch in the corner of the studio. It's an absolute hoot!
Robots To Mars engagement with the same number strips the
arrangement back to barer boards and reveals the stark
beauty of the melody and clever harmonies.
Ashking, Wedis, Lush and Young Thoro add highly addictive soulful
urban interjections to the Deewan treatment of 'Just Dance'.
The Manhattan Clique's take on 'Boys Boys Boys' elevates one
of Madame GaGa's weaker creative endeavours to a whole new level
entirely. If this version hasn't already set dancefloors ablaze
in discerning nightclubs across the globe then it is bound to be
visiting a venue near you very soon. A fairly ordinary pop song
is transformed into a big bad disco anthem which it is quite
impossible to sit still to!
Both Frankmuzik and The Pet Shop Boys grapple with 'Eh Eh' in
satisfyingly different ways. The former nearly splits apart with
marvellous dark energy, the latter has a lighter (but no less
tantalizing) touch as befits Messrs Tennant and Lowe's distinctively
masterful sonic management. Two for the price of one!
The darkly sensuous Grum remix of 'Bad Romance' will blow your socks off !!
The Lady has her detractors. Of this there can be no doubt.
For those of us, however, who have been quite happy to walk through
the portals of The Haus Of GaGa with an open heart and mind there
can be no looking back and no regrets. 'The Remix' is a total BLAST!!
Highly Recommended.
GAGAMAZING! May 6, 2010 O. Dearan (Taunton, Somerset) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
May the 10th is a special day. Why? Because Lady GaGa releases the ultimate compilation `The Remix'. This is amazing because we get to hear all the amazing hits from `Just Dance', `Bad Romance' and a lot more... in remix form! With stunning remixes from Stuart Price, Chew Fu and more amazing producers/remixers, you can't go wrong if you want the album for a party!
I have 2 favourite remixes:
1. Paparazzi - Stuart Price Remix. I love this remix because Stuart uses vocal manipulation to give the hit a whole new emotional level. This short, genius piece makes me wanna get up and dance!
2. Dance In The Dark - Monarchy `Stylites' Remix. This remix puts Dance In The Dark in a whole new light! It makes it a dance anthem and uses parts of the song to make it more memorable and great to listen too.
So there you have it. My recommendation is that if you feel down or unhappy, buy this album and not only get amazing hits, you get a cool, fun vibe that will last forever.

Go GaGa May 15, 2010 A. J. Dale 9 out of 12 found this review helpful
'The Remix' is a Remix version of GaGa's number 1 album 'The Fame Monster'. It includes hit singles like 'Bad Romance', 'Just Dance', 'Pokerface', 'Paparazzi', 'Telephone' and may others.
JUST DANCE (RICHARD VISSION REMIX) - 'Just Dance' was Gaga's first single, which made me fall in love with her voice. This is an amazing remix of an incredible song.
POKER FACE (LLG VS. GLG RADIO MIX) - A really great beat and good to dance to, overall an excellent mix.
LOVEGAME (CHEW FU GHETTOHOUSE FIX) - I love this mix, Marilyn Manson is great, and an amazing take on a fabulous song!
EH, EH (NOTHING ELSE I CAN SAY) [FRANKMUSIK 'CUT SNARE EDIT'] - A very good remix. Great to dance to, a very 'clubby' tune.
PAPARAZZI (STUART PRICE REMIX) - This remix has got to be one of my all time favourite Gaga songs, as it brings a more emotional side to an brilliant pop tune.
BOYS BOYS BOYS (MANHATTAN CLIQUE) - I love 'Boys Boys Boys' already, and this is a superb remix of an already addictive song.
THE FAME (GLAM AS YOU REMIX) [RADIO EDIT VERSION] - 'The Fame' is a very good Gaga tune, its upbeat and about wanting to be famous. A really great remix.
BAD ROMANCE (STARSMITH REMIX) - One of my faves from the album, great to dance too andd....I LOVE RAVING TO THIS SONG! ;)
TELEPHONE (PASSIONS PIT REMIX) - I love the very cute robotic voice in this! Its a really good remix with an amazing beat, I've made a little dance routine to it
ALEJANDRO (THE SOUND OF ARROWS REMIX) - 'Alejandro' is my all time favourite Gaga song, and this remix reminded me how much I love it.
DANCE IN THE DARK (MONARCHY 'STYLITES' REMIX) - OMG, this remix is absolutely incredible. After my first listen I was hooked, and I had it on repeat for a VERY long time ;) it is seriously addictive and my favourite remix from the album.
JUST DANCE (DEEWAAN REMIX) - The second 'Just Dance' remix on the album, and I can tell you its even better than the first, and that's saying something, as I thought that the first was an amazing opener to 'The Remix'. The first track is a very good 'Just Dance' mix and then further into the album pops up this other brilliant mix, you'll want to listen to it again and again.
LOVEGAME (ROBOTS TO MARS REMIX) - I do like this remix, although I like the first 'LoveGame' mix better, its a decent one, and its still very good and its enjoyable.
EH, EH (NOTHING ELSE I CAN SAY) - When I first saw the album on iTunes I thought it was the normal version, but after listening to the song once I got the album, I can confirm it ISN'T and it is a remix. Its very good and highly commendable, a great mix
POKER FACE (LIVE AT CHERRYTREE HOUSE PIANO & VOICE VERSION) - This is an incredible live version of 'Poker Face' which she sings beautifully. It just shows that Lady Gaga is as incredible live as she is recording. I could go on for ages about how much I love this track, it really is incredible.
TELEPHONE (ALPHABEAT REMIX EDIT) - A very good 'Telephone' remix.
This album is definately worth buying, 'The Remix' is amazing because we get to hear all the amazing hits from `Just Dance', `Bad Romance' and a lot more... in remix form! With stunning remixes from amazing producers/remixers, you can't go wrong if you play this album at a party!

GOING GAGA FOR GAGA !!!!!!!!! June 22, 2010 D. WALKER (ENGLAND) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
YET AGAIN THE GAGA HAS PROVEN SHE HAS A PLACE IN THE MODERN CRITERIA OF POP YET I DON't feel she has earned the right to be a diva yet as she hasonly been in the public hearts for a short time not as iconic female artists such as KYLIE OR MADONNA WHO HAVE GAINNED THE RESPECT THEY DISERVE IN OUR MODERN POP WORLD XX
